I’ve had the privilege of mentoring the next generation of leaders as an advisor for the Wake Teen Democrats for two terms since 2019 and now with the North Carolina Association of Teen Democrats. Watching young people discover and use their political voice, whether through rallying, creating postcards, or working the polls, continues to inspire me and reaffirms why this work is s/o important.
